Renew Your Library Materials

All books (except Popular Picks) may be renewed twice if they have not been requested by another patron. All audio/visual materials (except entertainment DVDs and videos) may be renewed once.

For patron convenience materials may be renewed in any of the following ways:
  • In person at any library location.

  • By calling the circulation desk during library hours: 847-358-5881, ext.125.

  • By automated phone, available 24 hours a day: 847-358-6076.

  • Online at www.palatinelibrary.org. See directions below.

How to Renew Online Using My Millennium

  1. Got to our web site, www.palatinelibrary.org.

  2. Click on My Library Account. (see Figure 1)

  3. Enter your name, full barcode from your library card and PIN number. Then click Submit. (see Figure 2)

è If you have not yet created a PIN, leave the PIN box empty and click Submit. The next screen will ask you to create a PIN. It should be at least five characters long and is made of any combination of letters and/or numbers. If you have forgotten your PIN, contact the library for instructions. (see Figure 3)

  1. Once inside your account, click on the link that tells you how many items you have currently checked out. (see Figure 4)

  2. Check the box to the left of each title you wish to renew. Then click Renew Selected Items. (see Figure 5)
